I went for an early walk...

Hope all is well with everyone and everyone is being safe.  I think there is light at the end of the tunnel as far as the virus is concerned.  I will be getting my second shot on Tuesday and my plan is to coach again next year.

I went for an early walk on Weds. morning.  Normally I take headphones and my phone and listen to my music. But on this morning I was having trouble with my phone and so I was unable to listen to music. It was a blessing in disguise as I was able to hear the sounds of my community waking up.  I walked around my high school as the kids were pulling up in their cars.  I heard things that I don't normally hear when I have my headphones on.   The birds were chirping, the flag was being blown against the flagpole, the kids were getting out of their cars and my community was waking up.  Pretty nice feeling.

Things can get pretty chaotic in your lives, raising your families and doing your jobs, but every once in a while go for an early morning walk and celebrate your community as you observe it waking up.

I hope you are maintaining a healthy lifestyle and staying in some kind of shape. If you are under a lot of stress do some aerobic exercise and your whole attitude will change.  It is the absolute best way to deal with stress.

Stay safe and healthy,

Coach Nack
